Plastic product surface treatment process types: silk screen, pad printing, painting, electroplating, hot stamping, laser carving, water transfer printing, etc. The purpose for painting are improving appearance and functions, such as friction resistance, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, acid and alkali resistance, fire resistance, increased strength, etc.
The main painting processing are as below:
1. Anneal to eliminate internal stress, heat the plastic part below its thermal deformation temperature, and keep it for 2 hours.
2. Degreasing, the surface of plastic parts is often stained with oil, hand sweat and release agent, which will make the coating adhesion worse, the coating will crack, bubble and fall off. The plastic parts are usually cleaned with gasoline or alcohol. Then do chemical degreasing. After chemical degreasing, the residual lye on the surface of the workpiece should be thoroughly cleaned, and finally cleaned with pure water, and dried.
3. Removing static and dust, plastic products are insulators, and the surface resistance is generally about 1013Ω, which is easy to generate static electricity. After being charged, it is easy to absorb dust in the air and adhere to the surface. It is very difficult to remove the dust adsorbed by static electricity by the general air blowing method. The effect of using high-pressure ionized air flow to remove static electricity and dust is better.
4. Spraying, the thickness of the plastic coating is 1520μm, usually 2^3 sprays to complete. After one spray, let it dry for 15 minutes, and then perform the second spray.
5. Drying, the general paint is dried at 150-180C for about 20-30 minutes, plastic paint is dried at 60-80C for about 20-30 minutes.
