Texture is a common process for mold surface treatment, which directly affects the appearance and surface strength of the product surface. Mold texture, also known as mold etching, mold graning, is widely used due to its low process cost, rich effect and fast speed. 
It's use chemical liquid (such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc.) to chemically react with the mold steel, and the reaction process is controlled to obtain various effects.

Purpose & usage of mold texture: 
1. Improve the appearance of plastic parts, it can block some shrinkage marks, and the steps of the parting surface and the slider shape.
2. Make the product appear more varied or a new design.
3. The surface strength of the parts is increased.

Advantages: 
1. The cost is not so high. Usuallly a set of mold etching costs is low, of course it's based on original or copy texture.
2. High yield. After the mold is textured, the yield of injection molded products can be greatly improved.
3. Fast. Usually the entire process can be completed in about 3 days.
4. Rich effect. It can do many differnt kinds of effects with differnt texture.
