There are some points that should be noticed when plastic mould design:

1.The draft angle should be designed to be more than one degree.

2. It is suitable to select the direction of the projection surface of the plastic part as the direction of forming pressure, which is convenient for the material to fill the cavity, but it is not suitable for the part with high dimensional accuracy and the axis of the insert and core,the direction is used as the molding pressurization direction.

3. When selecting the parting surface,the direction of the flashing edge is importance, because the material penetration force is strong,that make the flying edge is thick and not easy to remove.

4. The molding pressure is large,and the material seepage force is large. The mold core insert should have sufficient strength to prevent deformation, displacement and damage. Especially when the gap between the elongated core and the cavity is small,that should be noticed.

5. The mold should be polished and hardened.

6.The mold ejector should have sufficient strength,the ejector should be even, and the ejector should not be used as a core.

7. Rapid molding materials can be demoulded at the molding temperature, for the slow forming plastic mold, should be handled with heating and forced cooling measures.
