The process for injection molding Dec 13, 2019
The Last Shot Stage → Closed mold → Filling → Holding Pressure →Plastic Melting → Part Cooling → Mold Opening → Demolding → The Next Shot Stage

During the filling and holding stage, the cavity pressure rises with time. After filling the cavity, the pressure will remain in a relatively static state to supplement the insufficient amount of plastic due to shrinkage. This pressure can prevent the resulting colloidal backflow phenomenon is stage of holding pressure.

After the completion of the holding pressure, the cavity pressure gradually decreases and can theoretically decrease to zero over time, but it is not actually zero, so the innerstress of the product appear after demolding, some products need to undergo post-processing to remove residual stress.
