Injection molds are often burned for some reason during production.Depending on the cause of the burn, such as machine, mold, or molding conditions, there are different solution.
1. Mechanical reasons: overheating of the cylinder due to abnormal conditions; or stagnation of the resin due to the nozzle and screw thread. At this time, the nozzle, screw and barrel should be cleaned.
2. The cause of the mold: poor vending. This type of burn usually occurs in a fixed location and is easily distinguished from the first one. You should pay attention to the vending system of the mold. You can add vent tank or reverse vent lever.
3. In terms of molding conditions, if the back pressure is above 300MPa, part of the cylinder will overheat, resulting in burns. If the screw speed is too high, overheating will also occur. Generally, it is better in the range of 40 ~ 90r/min.If the vent is not set or if the vent is too small, the high injection speed may cause overheating gas burns.
