Color difference is a common defect in injection moulding. There are many factors affecting the color difference, such as raw resin, color masterbatch (or color powder), mixture of color masterbatch and raw material, injection molding process, injection moulding machine, mould and so on.
Because it involves a wide range of aspects, it is recognized as one of the difficult technologies to master the color difference in injection moulding. In the actual production process, we generally control the color difference from the following 6 aspects.

1. Eliminating the influences of injection moulding machines and moulding factors
2. Eliminating the influences of raw resin and colour masterbatch
3. Eliminating the influences of uneven mixing of masterbatch and color materials
4. Reducing the effect of barrel temperature
5. Reducing the effect of injection process adjustment
6. Mastering the influence of part color change from barrel temperature and masterbatch
