How many you know about the ultrasonic plastic welding?

Plastic welding refers to the method of heating the contact surface of two plastic parts to melt at the same time, so that they are combined into a whole connection method, only applicable to the thermoplastic joint welding, we can use electrode or not use electrode.

When using the welding rod, the end face of the welding end shall be made into a joint of fixed shape (such as U-shape, X-shape, etc.). The molten body of the welding rod shall drip into the joint, and the two welded parts shall be connected into one. When welding rod is not used, the welding surface is heated to melt, and then the vertical pressure is applied to the welded surface until it is tightly fused into one.

When welding, pressure, time, heat absorption (melt) is  three elements to ensure the quality.
