Gas Assisted Molding refers to an injection molding technology in which inert high-pressure nitrogen is injected at the appropriate time (75%~99.9%) when the plastic is filled into the mold cavity.

The principle of gas assisted injection molding includes: 
1.Metrological management 
2.Press the high pressure nitrogen gas directly into the mould cavity through gas assisted controller.
3.The gas expands the inside of the plastic and creates a hollow.

The advantage of the gas assisted injection technology:
1、Reduce the residual stress of the product, so that it does not deform.
2、Solve and eliminate the sink mark of the product surface, apply to the products with large thickness variation.
3、Lower down the production cycle time, improve production efficiency.
4、Save plastic material,the maximum saving rate can reach to 30%.
5、Reduce the clamping force of injection molding machine, reduce the loss of molding machine, 
improve the working life of injection molding machine.
6、Reduce the pressure of mould cavity,reduce the loss of the mould and improve the mould lifetime.
7、For some special plastic products,the mould can use Aluminium Alloy material.
8、Simplify complex product design.
